Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some basic instructions for adding the video widgets to a html webpage:
Select the video you wish to embed into your page.
Under the video you will see "Get & Share". Click on this link.
Click on "All"
Click on "Embed"
Click on "Copy".
The text is now in your computers 'clipboard' ready to
be pasted
anywhere.
Open your website editing program and "paste"
the script text into the
relevant position of your web page.
And
that is essentially all that is required.
If you wish to centralize the 'video widget' and cannot do so in the normal
way
you can use a simple table:
<table border="0"
width="450" align="center"><td>
INSERT PASTED
TEXT HERE
</td>
Line
one sets up the table. The "table border" is set to zero in
this case, which makes it invisible but you could change it to 1
or 2 and so on (they are pixel widths). "Width" sets
the boundary of the table; in this case it is the same as the
widget and "align" is the alignment; options are left,
center and right.
Line two is where you paste the video widget embed code.
Line three closes the table. You can put as
many widget codes as you wish between lines one and three and
they will all appear in the middle of your screen.
Difficulty viewing the videos?
If you are having trouble viewing the videos and can only see a black rectangle then you need to install the latest version of Flash. You can download this from:
Also if you are Microsoft Windows you may need to visit Windows Update to ensure you have the latest updates for your operating system. If Internet Explorer crashes when visiting www.adobe.com you are probably still using Service Pack One and an older version of internet explorer!
