Is it a violin? No a shakuhachi flute. Wait... it's a trumpet! A  Bandoneon ? A saxophone? A baby crying? A wailing train? No, it's Joe  Powers' soulful Harmonica! He pours his heart into everything he  plays, from Blues and Pop-Rock, to Jazz, Classical, Tango, and more.  He sees infinite possibilities to be explored on harmonica and that is  his passion.

Since 2005 he has performed at festivals and events throughout the  Americas, Europe, and Asia. His collaborations have included groups as  diverse as Pink Martini, British Pop Icon Jamie Cullum, Smooth Jazz
Pioneer Tom Grant, and Tango piano maestro, Emilio de la Pena.

He has released several albums including; "Amor de Tango", recorded in  Buenos Aires (2007), and most recently "Melancolie", with Grammy  Nominated British Composer, Michael Hopp(2009).

Joe's chromatic harmonica of choice is the four octave Suzuki  Fabulous. With it's rich tone, agile reed responsiveness, mega dynamic  range, unmatched bendability and playablity, it truly lives up to it's  name from top to bottom.
